After two weekends on the road, the OklahomaĀ wrestling team is set to host Little Rock in its home openerĀ on Friday night.
The dual is set for a 7 p.m. start vs. the Trojans at historic McCasland Field House. Fans can watch the dual on SoonerVision on ESPN+ with a subscription and former OU coach Jack Spates will be on the call.Ā

The Sooners (1-1) are fresh off a trip to the Journeymen WrangleMania and Journeymen Collegiate Classic. While in Pennsylvania, OU recorded its first win of the season with a dominant 28-9 victory over Buffalo.
Darrien Roberts was named NCAA Wrestler of the Week after compiling a 5-1 record between both Journeymen events, including upsets over No. 8 Philip Conigliaro (Harvard) and No. 22 Jay Nivison (Buffalo). Roberts also secured the 174-pound pool championship at the Journeymen Collegiate Classic in front of his hometown of Bethlehem, Pa.
Josh Heindselman finished second in the 285A-pound division after collecting two decision wins over No. 21 Zachary Knighton-Ward (Hofstra) and No. 22 Ben Goldin (Penn) at the Journeymen Collegiate Classic.
In the last matchup between the Sooners and the Little Rock Trojans, the Sooners dominated the dual, 37-3. Oklahoma is 2-0 against the Little Rock Trojans since the creation of its wrestling program in 2019.
The Little Rock Trojans travel to Norman after placing fourth at the Tiger Style Tournament last weekend. Little Rock is 2-2, with its most recent win coming 28-5 over Chattanooga.Ā
Little Rock's Triston Wills is on FloWrestling's honorable mention list for the 174-pound weight class.Ā

Following the matchup on Friday night, the Sooners take a few weeks off before hosting Oklahoma State in one of two Bedlam duals. The dual will be held on Dec. 11 at 3 p.m. at McCasland Field House in Norman.Ā
