Megan Wilson registered 20 kills and hit .425 in the match while senior outside hitter
Savannah Davison tallied 14 kills to lead the Oklahoma volleyball team to a 3-0 sweep (25-19, 33-31, 25-15) of Abilene Christian Tuesday evening at McCasland Field House.
Wilson notched at least 20 kills for the second time season (she had 21 kills on Sept. 10 in a 3-2 win against Indiana), but set an OU season high for kills in a three-set match. The Sooners (5-5) hit .369 and totaled 53 kills in the match. Davison hit .375 and sophomore middle blocker
Kelsey Carrington hit .300 with four kills. OU recorded eight team blocks and held the Wildcats (5-5) to a .186 attack percentage for the match. Freshman setter

Callie Kemohah finished with a match-high 17 digs.
"Really proud that they found a way to fight through and grind it out," said Oklahoma volleyball head coach
Lindsey Gray-Walton. "ACU is a good team and gave us everything that they had. Defending your home court is super important."
The Sooners overcame a 13-8 deficit in the opening set with a 17-6 run and scored the final four points of the frame. Wilson notched her second kill of the set out of a timeout to make it 13-9, and consecutive kills by Davison pulled OU into a 16-16 tie. An ace by Carrington gave Oklahoma its first lead of the set, and the home team closed it out with four straight kills by redshirt senior middle blocker
Paige Anderson, Wilson (twice) and Dunn. OU hit .306 with 16 kills and two blocks in the set while holding ACU to a .094 attack percentage.
Oklahoma needed extra points to put away the Wildcats in set two. Consecutive points by Abilene Christian knotted the score 24-all, prompting the 16-point back-and-forth. The Sooners saved set point at 25-26 with a kill by Davison, again at 27-28 with a block by freshman setter
Peyton Dunn and Anderson and at 30-31 on a service error. OU had three set points of its own before Wilson served an ace and Davison notched a kill to close the set. The Sooners tallied 25 kills, including 13 by Wilson alone, and hit .382 while the Wildcats hit .438 with 23 kills in the set.

Olivia LittleJim kill. The Sooners withstood an 8-2 run by ACU that cut the lead to 12-10, as a kill by Anderson spurred a 13-5 OU run to close out the match. Oklahoma recorded four blocks and held the Wildcats to a -.091 hitting percentage in the frame, while hitting .385 with 12 kills.
Oklahoma is on the road Thursday for a match at SMU. First serve is set for 7 p.m.
