11 Sooners to Compete at U23s

LINCOLN, Neb. - Eleven Oklahoma wrestlers, highlighted by All-Americans Dom Demas and Jake Woodley, are set to return to the mat this weekend at U23 World Team Trials in Lincoln, Nebraska.
At Junior and Senior Nationals, Demas, Darrien Roberts and Josh Heindselman all made the finals in their respective weight classes. Woodley won the 92 kg bracket in 2019.
All 11 are wrestling in the men's freestyle division. Champions from each weight class will represent Team USA at the UWW U23 World Championships in Belgrade, Serbia, on Nov. 1-7.
