First Pitch:
• Ā Oklahoma returns home to L. Dale Mitchell Park for four games this week, beginning Tuesday against UT Arlington. First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m.
• Ā Fans will be allowed to attend in limited capacity (attendance for OU's two Feb. 21-22 home games was restricted due to snow and ice in the stadium). Click here to purchase tickets.
• Ā The Sooners will then host Arkansas State in a three-game series this weekend, March 12-14.

Leading Off:
• Ā After playing nine straight games away from home (all in major or minor league ballparks), the Sooners will play seven of their next eight contests at L. Dale Mitchell Park. OU will face UT Arlington (March 9), Arkansas State (March 12-14) and Houston (March 19-21) at home over the next two weeks.
• Ā Oklahoma will play 16 of its next 22 games between March 9 and April 14 at the friendly confines of L. Dale Mitchell Park.
• Ā Oklahoma played nine consecutive games (Feb. 23-March 7) in professional ballparks, all affiliates of the Texas Rangers. Games on Feb. 23-24 were played at Globe Life Field, home of the Rangers. The Round Rock Classic (Feb. 26-28) was held at Dell Diamond, home of the Rangers' Triple-A affiliate Round Rock Express, and the Frisco Classic was held at Dr. Pepper Ballpark in Frisco, Texas, home of the Rangers' Double-A affiliate Frisco RoughRiders.

Series History:
• Ā This will be the 37th meeting between Oklahoma and UT Arlington. OU leads the series 25-11.
• Ā The Sooners defeated the Mavericks 7-1 on Feb. 24 at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.Ā 
• Ā OU has won four in a row and five of the last six against UTA, including a 3-0 victory last season in Arlington, Texas (at UTA).Ā 

About the Sooners:
• Ā Three Sooners were named to the Frisco College Baseball Classic All-Tournament Team: catcher Jimmy Crooks, first baseman Tyler Hardman and center fielder Tanner Tredaway. Crooks was also named to the Round Rock Classic All-Tournament Team.
• Ā OU totaled 33 runs in the four-game tournament in Frisco, averaging 8.3 runs per contest. The Sooners produced season highs of 16 runs and 17 hits against Missouri.
• Ā Tyler Hardman and Tanner Tredaway led OU at the plate last weekend, each batting .533 (8 for 15) with a double, five RBIs and a .600 slugging percentage. Hardman walked four times and scored three runs while Tredaway drew two walks and scored four runs. Jimmy Crooks led the Sooners with seven runs scored and three doubles, also driving in three runs.
• Ā Hardman has a team-high .372 batting average and nine RBIs. Crooks leads the team with 13 runs scored and six extra base hits (four doubles, two home runs) and is second with eight RBIs. Tredaway is hitting .317 with six RBIs and seven runs.
• Ā Carson Carter pitched 5.0 relief innings, allowing no runs and only two hits in Oklahoma's 16-6 win over Missouri on Saturday. He retired the first five batters he faced in a 6-6 game, shut down the Tigers in the seventh inning after OU took a 12-6 lead with six runs in the sixth, and closed out the game with a perfect ninth inning. He has allowed no earned runs in 12.0 innings this season.
• Ā Right fielder Brett Squires hit .400 (4 for 10) and drove in five runs. He doubled, tripled and batted in four runs against Missouri on Saturday.Ā 
• Ā Shortstop Brandon Zaragoza also drove in five runs for the Sooners in the tournament. He accounted for a double, three walks and a sacrifice fly, and he scored two runs.
• Ā Kendall Pettis started two games in left field, and went 3 for 6 at the plate, doubling twice and scoring four runs. He notched both doubles while going 3 for 3 on Saturday night against Missouri.
• Ā OU is in its fourth season under the direction of head coach Skip Johnson. Johnson has led the Sooners to an 90-58 record and an NCAA postseason appearance in 2018.
