OU Fan Cutouts
February 01, 2021 | Baseball, Athletics
This season, the OU Athletics Department is offering fans an opportunity to join the Sooners at L. Dale Mitchell Park and Marita Hynes Field even if you can't physically be at the games. For $50, you can get a cutout of yourself placed in open seat areas around the stadium. Cutout opportunities are limited and served on a first-come, first-served basis. In order to guarantee your cutout is installed by the first games, order by Feb. 28 for softball or March 1 for baseball.
Proceeds from the fan cutouts will benefit the Sooner Relief Fund, which directly impacts the OU student-athlete experience. As we have yet to realize the full impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, we know there will be significant changes to our budget in the immediate future. Because of your vital support, we will continue our commitment to fund the best student-athlete experience and ensure Oklahoma remains an elite program.
The deadline has passed to order cutouts for the 2021 seasons. Thank you for your support! Boomer Sooner!

Taking the picture:
- It is suggested that you take a brand new photo.
- Get some help! Selfies don't crop well so ask a friend to take your picture!
- Stand no more than 3-4 feet away from the camera/phone.
- Take the photo at your eye level and position the bottom of the image area at the waist.
- Smart phone photos: make sure it is as large as possible! Don't compress the file or choose a small size if you email it to yourself. Preferred file size below.
- If you use the flash on your phone, beware of glare on glasses and red eyes. A phone flash will work best within 2-3 feet of the subject.

- Props such as a foam finger or flag will get cut off if they extend beyond the width/height of your shoulders.
- Photos that include references to other schools/teams will not be approved.
- One person per photo.
Selecting the right background:
- For the best results, choose a solid, single-color background.
- Avoid backlighting. When you stand with your back to the window or sun, you will make your face dark.
- Don't show personal info behind you! We can't guarantee that all backgrounds will be removed.
- You can use portrait mode on a phone with 2 or more lenses to blur your background (or an app with bokeh effect).
