First Pitch:
• Oklahoma continues its homestand with a three-game series against Arkansas State at L. Dale Mitchell Park. The Sooners and Red Wolves will play a doubleheader beginning at 2 p.m. Sunday and a single game at 1 p.m. Monday. Game two of Sunday's doubleheader will begin approximately 45 minutes after the conclusion of game one.
• Tickets for the games originally scheduled for Friday (March 12) and Saturday (March 13) will be valid for the doubleheader on Sunday; one ticket will gain admission to both contests. Tickets for the third game of the series originally scheduled for Sunday will be honored at Monday's game. • The Sooners will travel to Fayetteville, Ark., to face Arkansas at 5 p.m. Tuesday. The game will be televised on SEC Network.

Leading Off:
• Between March 9 and April 14, Oklahoma will play 16 of 22 games at the friendly confines of L. Dale Mitchell Park. OU is playing four straight at home, including Tuesday's 15-5 win over UT Arlington and this three-game set against Arkansas State.
• With a three-game series against Houston next weekend (March 19-21) following a midweek contest at Arkansas on Tuesday, six of OU's next seven are at home.
• The Sooners have yet to play a three-game, Friday through Sunday series against one opponent this season. Winter weather wreaked havoc on opening weekend, forcing OU to play Sunday and Monday against Nebraska-Omaha. Oklahoma then competed in four-team tournaments at Round Rock and Frisco, and the threat of inclement weather forced the change to this weekend's series against Arkansas State.
• Oklahoma has totaled 48 runs in its last five games, an average of 9.6 runs per contest. OU scored 33 runs in the four-game tournament in Frisco, averaging 8.3 runs per contest, then produced 15 runs in the win over UTA on Tuesday

Series History:
• This will be the ninth meeting between Oklahoma and Arkansas State. OU leads the series 7-1.
• The teams last met in 1999 when the Red Wolves won 12-6 in a game played at Arlington, Texas. OU won the first seven meetings, played between, 1978 and 1994, including a 10-3 victory in the 1994 NCAA Central Regional at Austin, Texas.

About the Sooners:
• Oklahoma is hitting .289 as a team and averaging 7.1 runs 10.1 hits per game.
• Tyler Hardman leads the Sooners with a .383 batting average, 18 hits, 11 walks (tied) and a .492 OBP. In his last five games, Hardman is 10 for 19 (.526 batting average) and notched five of his nine RBIs on the season.
• Tanner Tredaway is second among qualifying Sooners with a .312 batting average. He has hit safely in nine straight games. In his last five contests, Tredaway is batting .474 (9 for 19) with five of his six RBIs and six of his nine runs scored.
• Jimmy Crooks is batting .302 with teams highs in doubles (four), runs scored (13), walks (11; tied) and OBP (.474). He is second on the team with two home runs and 10 RBIs.
• Kendall Pettis (six starts in eight games) is batting .381 (8 for 21) with two doubles, five walks, eight runs scored and three RBIs. Diego Muniz (five starts in eight games) is batting .375 (9 for 24) with six RBIs and six runs scored.
• Conor McKenna leads the Sooners with 11 RBIs and four home runs, and is second with 10 runs scored. He also has hit two doubles, and is tied with Crooks for most extra base hits (six).
• Carson Carter pitched 5.0 relief innings at the Frisco Classic last weekend, allowing no runs and only two hits in Oklahoma's 16-6 win over Missouri on Saturday. He retired the first five batters he faced in a 6-6 game, shut down the Tigers in the seventh inning after OU took a 12-6 lead with six runs in the sixth, and closed out the game with a perfect ninth inning. He has allowed no earned runs in 12.0 innings this season.
• Brett Squires hit .400 (4 for 10) and drove in five runs at the Frisco Classic last weekend. He doubled, tripled and batted in four runs against Missouri on Saturday.
• Jace Bohrofen registered his first career hit and first career RBI in Tuesday's win over UTA, and finished the game with three hits and six RBIs. All three of his hits – a double, a single and a triple – drove in two runs apiece.
