Play 4 Kay 2021

February 20, 2021 | Women's Basketball

Each year, the Oklahoma women's basketball team takes part in a Play 4 Kay game in conjunction with the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.Ā

Coach Kay Yow was passionate about uniting the nation of coaches, players and the women's basketball community to do something for the greater good that far exceeds wins and losses on the court. The Play 4 Kay campaign was born in 2007 and continues to grow as it raises funds to support women's cancer research. To date, the fund has allocated more than $5 million towards this goal.

Throughout her time at OU, Sherri Coale and her staff have been innovators in terms of pushing the Play 4 Kay efforts forward. Each year, the Play 4 Kay game generates new excitement and celebrates the survivors that inspire us every day.Ā

The Sooners will play their annual Play 4 Kay game on Sunday, Feb. 21 when Baylor comes to Lloyd Noble Center at 1 p.m. CT. Ahead of tip, meet the five survivors the Sooners will honor at the game and learn more about the event!
