NORMAN – Oklahoma (7-2, 0-0 Big 12) and No. 10/12 Arkansas (9-0, 0-0 SEC) battle in the Cardinal & Crimson Classic Saturday, Dec. 11 at 12:30 p.m.
It is the first time the Sooners have played in the BOK Center since OU beat USC, 81-70, Dec. 15, 2018.
In Oklahoma's last outing against Butler, a trio of Sooners finished in double figures and were led by
Elijah Harkless' season-high 16 points.
Tanner Groves and
Jordan Goldwire each tallied 10 points.

SCOUTING THE RAZORBACKS
- No. 10/12 Arkansas enters the Tulsa clash undefeated (9-0) and under the direction of third year head coach Eric Musselman. Prior to his arrival in Fayetteville, Musselman coached at Nevada.
- The Razorbacks opened the season with a trio of victories over Mercer (74-61), Gardner-Webb (86-69) and Northern Iowa (93-80) before playing in the Hall of Fame Classic. UA topped Big 12 opponent Kansas State 72-64 before concluding the two-game event with a 73-67 win over Cincinnati. Arkansas beat its next four opponents - Penn (76-60), Central Arkansas (97-60), Little Rock (93-78) and Charlotte (86-66).
- In its last game prior to the clash in Tulsa, Arkansas earned the 20 point victory over Charlotte. JD Notae led Arkansas with 23 points on 9-for-18 shooting and grabbed 10 boards. Davonte Davis pitched in 18 points, Jaylin Williams added 15 and Chris Lykes tallied 13.
- Against the 49ers, Arkansas shot 53.1% from the field (34-64). The Razorbacks outrebounded Charlotte (41-21).
SERIES HISTORY: OKLAHOMA vs. ARKANSAS
- Oklahoma and Arkansas are slated to play for the 29th time. UA has won the previous two meetings between the two schools, but Oklahoma enters the contest with eight-consecutive wins over SEC opponents.
- The Sooners have not lost to the Razorbacks in the state of Oklahoma since the 1977-78 season and have won five-straight games. The two programs have previously played one neutral site game in the Sooner State in 1944-45. UA won the game 54-51.
- OU won the last meeting between the two schools in Oklahoma. In Lon Kruger's first year, the Sooners improved to 7-1 and beat the Razorbacks 78-63. Junior guard Steven Pledger went 9-for-12 from the field and 3-for-5 from 3-point range to finish with a team-high 22 points (19 in the second half).
- The last time Oklahoma faced a ranked Arkansas team was Dec. 23, 2000. The then-No. 18 Sooners beat No. 25 Arkansas 88-79 in overtime in Norman. OU finished the season 26-7 and 12-4 in the Big 12 and won the Big 12 Tournament.
- During the 1998-99 season, unranked Oklahoma faced then-No. 19 Arkansas and beat the Razorbacks, 87-57.
