Panas Named Big 12 Goalkeeper of the Week

NORMAN — University of Oklahoma soccer Senior Nikki Panas was named Big 12 Goalkeeper of the Week for her shutout performance Thursday night versus Baylor, the conference announced Friday.

Panas poster her second straight clean sheet, playing 86 minutes for the Sooners and making five saves to help OU to a 2-0 victory on Senior Night.

It was Panas' third shutout of the season after making a pair of saves in OU's 1-0 win at Iowa State on Sunday.

Oklahoma (8-10-1) heads to Round Rock, Texas, this weekend to meet Red River foe Texas (10-3-5) in the quarterfinals of the Big 12 Soccer Championship. The match will kick at 5:30 p.m. CT and is available to watch via Big 12 NOW on ESPN+. Tickets for the tournament are available on Big12Sports.com.
