First Pitch:
• Oklahoma continues its six-game homestand to begin the 2020 home schedule at L. Dale Mitchell Park.
• OU welcomes Illinois State for a four-game series this weekend, Feb. 21-23. The Sooners and Redbirds will play a single game at 3 p.m. Friday, a doubleheader beginning at noon Saturday and a single game at 1 p.m. Sunday.
• All four games will be broadcast on Sportstalk 1400 AM/99.3 FM and streamed live on SoonerSports.com
• The Sooners are ranked as high as No. 15 in the Feb. 17 national polls. OU is ranked No. 15 by Perfect Game, No. 16 by Baseball America, No. 23 by D1Baseball and No. 24 by the NCBWA.Ā 
• Oklahoma totaled 26 runs and 34 hits in the midweek set against Texas Southern. In its last four contests (two vs. Virginia and two vs. TSU), OU has totaled 38 runs and 55 hits, including 21 extra base hits (15 doubles, two triples, four home runs).
• In the same four-game span, OU pitchers have allowed five runs on 21 hits with 43 strikeouts. Included is just one extra base hit (a double by Texas Southern on Wednesday).

Promotions:
• $4 Fridays – $4 Beers until last call in the seventh inning, at every Friday home game this season.
• Food Truck Saturdays, for every Saturday home game this season. Midway Deli will be on hand this week.
• On Saturday, the first 200 fans at the park will receive a free OU baseball clear tote bag.
• Sunday Funday – Kids run the bases and play catch on the field after every Sunday home game.
• The first 200 fans through the gates on Sunday will receive a free OU baseball tumbler.

Ticket Information:
• General admission seats with chair backs are available in boxes 6, 8 and 10-18, as well as bleacher sections. General admission tickets are $10 while reserved seats are $15.Ā 
• The ticket office and gates open 90 minutes prior to the scheduled game time. The ticket office and will call windows are located behind home plate, along W. Imhoff Rd.

Clear Bag Policy/Stadium Entry for 2020:
• Consistent with all University of Oklahoma Athletics events, a clear bag policy is in effect for the 2020 baseball season at L. Dale Mitchell Park.
• The approved clear plastic bag size is a maximum of 12 inches x 6 inches x 12 inches or a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag. Stadium policy will allow non-transparent clutch purses that are no larger than 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches.Ā 
• In addition, metal detectors will be located at each stadium entrance gate.Ā 
• Lawn chairs and metal frame seats with chairbacks are allowed in L. Dale Mitchell Park, and are required to go through appropriate security screening at the main gate west entrance. Per Big 12 conference policy, umbrellas are not allowed in the stadium, but ponchos and other rain gear are permitted.

• This will be the first meeting between Oklahoma and Illinois State.

About the Sooners:
• Tyler Hardman is hitting .429 (9-21) with four doubles, a home run and seven RBIs. He leads the team in hits, doubles, RBIs, slugging (.762), OBP (.478) and ranks second with four runs scored.
• Justin Mitchell is hitting .364 (4-11) with three RBIs and a .467 OBP. He threw out two runners attempting to steal second in the season opener last Friday.
• Tanner Tredaway hit his first career home run on Tuesday. He has scored a team-high five runs and has seven hits (7-20, .350 average) and four RBIs. He also threw out a runner at home against Virginia in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader.
• Redshirt sophomore junior college transfer Trent Brown homered in consecutive games against Texas Southern this week. His first hit at OU was a two-run home run on Tuesday, and he ended Wednesday's game with a two-run homer in the bottom of the eighth inning, invoking the run rule.
• Freshman Jake Bennett made his first appearance and first start on the mound for the Sooners on Wednesday. He struck out the side in the first inning and finished the outing with seven strikeouts in 4.0 innings, earning his first career victory.
• Sophomore Ben Abram pitched 5.0 scoreless innings on Tuesday, striking out five and allowing just two hits in his first appearance of the season.
• Freshman Christian Ruebeck, senior Braxton Webb, senior Brad Demco, junior Aaron Brooks, junior Ledgend Smith, sophomore Jaret Godman and junior Zack Matthews each pitched a scoreless inning of relief in the games on Tuesday and Wednesday. Ruebeck's outing was his first collegiate appearance and he recorded one strikeout. Webb struck out two in his first action of the season.
• A total of 16 Sooners recorded an at bat in Tuesday's game and 12 players recorded a hit. Freshman Connor Beichler started in center field and went 2 for 3 with a doubled, an RBI and a run in his first action of the season. Freshman infielder Carter LaValley, junior college transfer Vinny Bologna and Godman each recorded their first hits at OU. LaValley doubled and scored a run in his only at bat on Tuesday, then stayed in the game to play third base. Bologna singled in a run on Tuesday.
