2020: Started all 12 games in which he played during the season shortened due to COVID-19… hit .310 with eight RBIs, six runs scored, four doubles and two home runs… notched six walks, a .392 OBP and a .548 slugging percentage with two stolen bases… caught five runners in 14 steal attempts… drove in three runs on three hits vs. Texas Southern (2/18)… doubled, drove in a run and stole a base vs. Illinois State (2/22; game 1)… went 2 for 4 with a double in the Shriners College Classic vs. Arkansas (2/28)… caught and called Dane Acker’s no-hitter, and hit the game-winning home run in the eighth inning of the 1-0 win over LSU at the Shriners College Classic (3/1)… went 3 for 4 with two doubles, a walk and two runs vs. Dallas Baptist (3/3)… hit a solo homer in a win over San Diego State (3/6).

2019: Academic All-Big 12 Second Team selection… played in 39 games with 32 starts at catcher and designated hitter… batted .274 with four doubles, a triple, 17 RBIs, 15 runs scored and a .367 on-base percentage… had nine multiple hit games… went 2 for 4 with a double, triple, RBI and two runs vs. Cal Poly (2/16)… was 2 for 2 with a walk, HBP and two runs vs. Dallas Baptist (2/20)… went 5 for 9 with two RBIs and a run in two games vs. Columbia (3/1-2)… doubled, walked, drove in three runs and scored a run going 2 for 5 vs. Missouri State (3/15)… recorded two hits and drove in two runs at Kansas State (4/26)… went 2 for 4 with an RBI vs. Texas Tech (5/3) and 2 for 4 with a double the following day (5/4)… was 3 for 5 with an RBI and a run vs. Oklahoma State (5/11).
