2020: Made four relief appearances during the season shortened due to COVID-19… pitched 3.1 innings and struck out six batters, allowing two runs and a walk on three hits… recorded one strikeout and allowed no runs and a hit over one frame in his first career appearance vs. Texas Southern (2/18)… notched three strikeouts and hit two batters in an inning vs. Arkansas-Pine Bluff (3/4)… tossed 0.2 frames with a strikeout in a combined shutout at UT Arlington (3/10).

High School: Attended Denison High School in Denison, Texas… ranked as the No. 23 prospect in Texas by Perfect Game and No. 26 by PBR… struck out 235 batters in 172 and two-thirds innings during his high school career, earning Texas all-state and district MVP honors… a three-time all-district selection and an All-Texoma Land Team selection as a sophomore… struck out 69 batters in 59 innings and hit .315 at the plate as a junior… as a sophomore, he posted 60 strikeouts in 49 innings and batted .320 at the plate.
