NORMAN – The Oklahoma wrestling team will conclude its regular season road schedule on Sunday when it travels to Stillwater for a Bedlam dual vs. No. 10 Oklahoma State.Ā 

LAST TIME OUT

The Sooners got back in the win column on Friday, Feb. 14 when they defeated Air Force, 24-10. All five of Oklahoma's ranked wrestlers were victorious and the Sooners had three bonus point wins.Ā 

Christian Moody (125) earned his first major decision win of the year, defeating Sidney Flores, 13-4. No. 15 Anthony Madrigal won his fourth straight bout at 133 when he beat Jared Van Vleet, 7-2. Reigning Big 12 champion Dom Demas (141) was victorious for the 21st time this year, beating Lenny Petersen, 11-5. No. 22 Justin Thomas (157) was dominant in his match at 157, blanking Trey Brisker, 10-0 to secure his fifth major decision of the season. 174-pounder No. 12 Anthony Mantanona registered three takedowns in the final frame to win via a 10-3 decision over Cody Surratt. True freshman Darrien Roberts at 184 was victorious after a second frame takedown gave him a 4-2 lead that would hold until the final whistle. The final OU win came from No. 15 Jake Woodley (197), who put on a clinic vs. Casey Jumps, earning a major decision, 16-5.Ā

For the third consecutive week the Sooners have five wrestlers ranked in the top 25 of their respective weight classes. The following rankings are listed in the order of Flo Wrestling/InterMat/TrackWrestling.Ā

Four of OU's five 2018-19 NCAA qualifiers are in this season's startling lineup: Christian Moody (125), Dom Demas (141), Justin Thomas (157) and Jake Woodley (197).Ā OU's returning qualifiers have combined for an impressive 61-30 record on the season. In dual action, Demas, Moody, Thomas and Woodley are a combined 28-10. In addition to the four returning qualifiers, Anthony Madrigal (133) and Anthony Mantanona (174) have both been solid veterans for the Oklahoma squad. Madrigal (18-7) has gone 10-2 against ranked opponents, defeating then-Nos. 10, 11, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18, 20, 23 and 25. Mantanona (16-6) leads the team with nine wins via fall, including five in his last eight victories.

The Sooners boast five wrestlers in their lineup who have seven wins in dual action: Anthony Madrigal (133), Dom Demas (141), Justin Thomas (157), Anthony Mantanona (174) and Jake Woodley (197). The five are a combined 89-30 on the season, and 41-9 in duals.Ā 

SERIES HISTORY

Sunday's dual marks the 180th Bedlam dual. Oklahoma States owns a 142-27-10 advantage all-time. The teams met earlier this season in Norman with the Cowboys winning, 23-9. The Sooners were victorious at 141 (Demas), 157 (Thomas) and 174 (Mantanona). Ā 

SCOUTING THE COWBOYS

Oklahoma State is ranked No. 10 in the NWCA Coaches Poll after a 12-2 start. Nine of the Cowboys' starters are ranked in the top 25, led by No. 4 Nick Piccininni (125), No. 6 Boo Lewallen (149) and No. 9 Travis Wittlake (165).Ā
