NORMAN --Ā The Oklahoma soccer team continues its five-game road swing with a pair of matches in Arizona. The Sooners will face Arizona in Tucson on Friday, Sept. 6, at 9 p.m. CT before traveling to Tempe to face Arizona State on Sunday, Sept. 8, at 7 p.m. CT.

GAMEDAY STORYLINES

ON THE ROAD AGAIN
For the third time this season, the Sooners will travel away from Norman. OU will play their next four games on the road after having played just two at home to start the season. The Sooners will travel to Tuscon, Ariz., to face the Arizona Wildcats on Friday and then head to Tempe, Ariz., to face the Arizona State Sun Devils on Sunday. OU leads the all-time series with both teams, holding a 3-1 advantage over Arizona and a 2-1 advantage over Arizona State. Arizona won the last meeting between the two teams with a 2-0 victory in Norman in 2017. The Sooners were last victorious over Arizona State in 2015 in a 2-0 win in Norman.

WEEKENDS ARE FOR ROAD WARRIORS
With two away games under their belts, the Sooners have proven they can get the job done away from John Crain Field. During opening weekend, OU defeated Arkansas, 1-0, in double overtime thanks to a golden goal from senior Kaylee Dao. The win snapped the Razorbacks' 11-game undefeated streak at home. In week two, Dao was once again clutch on the road as she had yet another golden goal to defeat Tulsa, 3-2.

DAO RECOGNIZED BY BIG 12
For the first time in 2019, senior Kaylee Dao was named the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week. Dao had an incredible weekend, notching four goals for a total of eight points. The senior was the difference-maker against Oklahoma State on Aug. 29, netting a pair of goals in the second half with the Sooners down 2-0. Dao converted a penalty kick in the 75th minute to cut the lead in half before finding the equalizer in the 87th minute.
On Sunday, Dao notched a pair of goals, including the game-winner in overtime. With the Sooners trailing 2-1, Dao found the back of the net in the 74th minute to help OU force overtime. In the 98th minute, the senior notched her second game-winning goal of the season to give OU the 3-2 victory over Tulsa.

IN THE RECORD BOOKS
Kaylee Dao broke her way into the OU record books over the weekend. With four goals in two days, the Tulsa, Okla., native brought her career total to 21 to rank fifth-all time. Her next goal will tie her for fourth with Savannah Scott (2003-06). Dao is also ranked fourth in program history with eight game-winning goals in her career.

HONEY, THEY'RE HOME
A pair of Sooners will find themselves back at home this weekend in Arizona. Junior Erika Yost (Fountain Hills, Ariz.) and freshman Jordan Lund (Cave Creek, Ariz.) both hail from the Grand Canyon State. Friday's match at Arizona is just 141 miles from Lund's hometown and 130 from Yost's. On Sunday, Yost will be just 25 miles from home, with Lund just 36 miles away. Junior Nikki Panas also has an Arizona connection as she started her collegiate career at Arizona State.

COMEBACK KIDS
Twice this season, the Sooners have had to overcome a deficit and have done so incredibly. When Oklahoma State came to town on Aug. 29, OU found itself in a 2-0 hole with just 15 minutes left in regulation. Kaylee Dao stepped up with a penalty kick conversion in the 75th minute and an equalizer in the 87th minute to lead OU to a comeback draw. Just three days later and with OU down, 2-1, Dao once again found the equalizer and the game-winner as OU secured the 3-2 comeback victory over Tulsa.
