OU Sends Nine to UWW U23 World Team Trials

NORMAN - Nine Oklahoma wrestlers are set to compete at the 2019 UWW U23 World Team Trials in Akron, Ohio, May 31-June 2.

Anthony Madrigal (61 kg), Jacob Butler (70kg), Jakob Woodley (92 kg), Justin Thomas (74 kg), Tommy Hoskins (57 kg), Jeremy Thomas (79k kg), Dom Demas (65 kg), Anthony Mantanona (79 kg) and Zack Zeamer (65 kg) all head to Akron to wrestle in the freestyle division for the chance to represent Team USA at the U23 World Championships. Dom Demas will also compete in the 67 kg weight class of the Greco-Roman competition.

Competition begins Friday at 9 a.m. CT with the beginning of the U23 Greco brackets. U23 Freestyle action begins Saturday at 8:30 a.m. CT.
