NORMAN – The Oklahoma wrestling team hits the road for its final away matches of the season. The Sooners meet Air Force Friday at 8 p.m. CT in Colorado Springs, Colo., before heading to California for a Sunday contest with Fresno State set for 4 p.m.
In their last competition, OU downed Edinboro 31-6 Saturday in head coach Lou Rosselli's return to his alma mater.
OU earned four bonus-point victories to seal the win in its final non-conference contest of the season.
At 141, Dom Demas is the Sooners' representative in the InterMat, Trackwrestliing and FloWrestling rankings. Demas is No. 18 in InterMat's release, 16 in Track and No. 13 in the latest Flo poll.
Five OU wrestlers are ranked in the first of four NCAA Division I Coaches' Panel Rankings. Demas is No 10 at 141; at 149 Davion Jeffries is 28. Justin Thomas (157) is No. 33, while at 174 Anthony Mantanona is ranked 28 and Woodley is No. 25 at 197.
Oklahoma is No. 22 in InterMat's team rankings.
Air Force enters Friday's contest with a 5-5 record and a 1-4 mark in Big 12 action. The Falcons dominated their last matchup when they downed Cal Poly 39-6 on the road. Air Force tallied six bonus-point victories in the contest with three of those pins.
Air Force holds a 1-3 record at home with its lone win coming against Fresno State 19-15 on Nov. 11.
OU owns the all-time series with the Falcons 3-0. Friday will mark the first time the teams meet in Big 12 action. The squads last clashed in 1972 with Oklahoma shutting out Air Force 36-0.
The Bulldogs have compiled a 9-7 record on the year and are 4-3 in league matches. Like Air Force, Fresno State rolled past Cal Poly in its last contest, winning nine of 10 matches for a 41-6 victory on the road. Seven of those wins came as bonus-point victories.
Three Bulldogs represent Fresno State in the InterMat rankings. Khristian Olivas is No. 17 at 149 pounds; Jacob Wright checks in at No. 19 at 157; and at 197, Josh Hokit is No. 14.
Sunday's meeting will mark Fresno State's final dual match of the season.
OU leads the all-time series with Fresno State 17-5. The last meeting between the teams was in 2017 at the Virginia Duals. The Sooners downed the Bulldogs 27-8 to advance to the tournament's gold bracket.

The Sooners close out the regular season at home with South Dakota State on Feb. 22 inside Lloyd Noble Center, followed by North Dakota State on Feb. 24 at McCasland Field House.

The Sooners will honor seniors Davion Jeffries, Reece Henry, Kayne MacCallum, Jake Rubio, Jared Schieber and Noah Teaney prior to the beginning of the North Dakota State match in the class' final contest in Norman.
