Jake WoodleyĀ (197) will compete on the second and finalĀ day of the prestigious tournament, which features 16 teams ranked in FloWrestling's top 25. Demas and WoodleyĀ each advanced to their respectiveĀ semifinal bouts, while the other three Sooners will look to advance through the consolation brackets.
At 141 pounds, No. 2/2/2 (Flo/InterMat/Track) DemasĀ pinned CSU Bakersfield's Noah Blakley-BeanesĀ in 2:34 and picked up a 23-7Ā tech fall (7:00)Ā victory over North Dakota State's Sawyer Degen in the first two rounds.
In the quarterfinals, the redshirt sophomore tallied six first-period points that would be enough to hold off No. 18/18/32 Mitch Moore (Virginia Tech), 6-4. DemasĀ will square off with No. 4/4/5 Mitchell McKee in Saturday's semifinal with a spot in the 141 title bout on the line.Ā

Jake Woodley advanced to the 197-poundĀ quarterfinals with a 9-2 decision over Joseph Correll (Michigan) and a 6-2Ā injury default (2:51)Ā over Ryan Reyes (Fresno State). Tied at 2-2 heading into the third period of his quarterfinal bout against No. 11/8/16 Tanner Sloan (South Dakota State), WoodleyĀ racked up an escape and a takedown to pull off a third-period victory and advance to the semifinals.
Woodley is slated to wrestle No. 19/17/17 Christian Brunner (Purdue) on SaturdayĀ for a spot in the final.

Anthony Madrigal was defeated by Virginia's No. NR/NR/19Ā Louie Hayes in a 6-1 decision, butĀ utilized a 16-1Ā technical fall (4:46), a medical forfeit and a 6-0 decision to advance to the second consolation round of eight to face Virginia Tech's No. 18/NR/21 Collin Gerardi on Saturday.

Justin Thomas (157) shutout Ohio State's Jaden Mattox, 7-0,Ā in the round of 16 after a bye in the tournament's first round. Thomas dropped a tight battle to Iowa State's No. 2/3/2Ā David Carr, 6-5 in the quarterfinals. The redshirt junior takes on Northern Iowa's Keaton GeertsĀ in Saturday's second consolation round of eight.Ā
After a pair of falls in the first two rounds, No. 14/NR/21
Anthony Mantanona was defeated by No. 7/7/7 Dylan LydyĀ (Purdue) in their own tight quarterfinals bout, 5-3. Mantanona will look to advance to the consolation semifinalsĀ when he faces No. 12/15/11 Brandon Womack (Cornell) on Saturday.Ā
