November 29, 2019 | Women's Basketball

NORMAN – The Oklahoma women's basketball team has been selected for the inaugural women's Battle 4 Atlantis in 2020, the Atlantis resort announced Thursday.

OU is one of eight teams that will make the trip to Paradise Island, Bahamas, Nov. 21-23, 2020. The highly-competitive field incudes current No. 1 Oregon, No. 5 South Carolina, No. 18 Syracuse, No. 21 South Florida, Central Michigan, Marquette and Minnesota.

The women's Battle 4 Atlantis tournament will immediately precede the men's tournament that runs each year through the Thanksgiving holiday as one of the premier events on the early college basketball schedule.
