NORMAN After recording a pair of game-winning goals last weekend, Oklahoma senior forward Liz Keester has been named the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday.

The Tulsa, Okla., native gave the Sooners a 2-1 lead with a goal in the 81st minute at Arizona on Friday off an assist from classmate Madison Saliba and scored both the game-winning and game-sealing goal at Grand Canyon on Sunday in the 62nd and 90th minutes (assisted by Shiloh Price), respectively.

Keester leads the Sooners in goals (six), game-winning goals (four) and points (15) and is tied for the team high in assists (three) this season. Keester's six goals are already more than any Sooner scored in 2015. She is tied for first in the Big 12 this year in goals scored and also sits in second in the conference in total points.

Keester has scored at least one goal in each of the last five matches, all of which have been OU wins. This marks the first Big 12 recognition of the 2016 season for the Sooners and the first of Keester's career at OU.

This weekend, the Sooners will return home following a six-match road trip for the start of Big 12 play. Oklahoma will welcome TCU to John Crain Field at 6:30 p.m. CT on Friday before hosting Texas at 1 p.m. CT on Sunday. Tickets are available online through SoonerSports.com or over the phone at (405) 325-2424 or toll-free at 800-456-GoOU.
