Tallied First Four-Goal Game in Program History
NORMAN — Junior forward Kayla Keefer was named Southeastern Conference (SEC) Offensive Player of the Week as announced by the league office Monday, Aug. 17. It's the second weekly SEC award in Keefer's career after she was named SEC Freshman of the Week in 2024.
Keefer started the season with a bang, setting a program record with four goals in just 39 minutes during the 9-0 win against Northwestern State August 12. She scored her first three goals in just under 12 minutes, posting just the ninth hat trick in program history.
The Sooners are 2-0 after the opening week following shutout wins against Northwestern State and East Texas A&M. OU goes to Oklahoma State Thursday, Aug. 20 at 7 p.m.
