Wrestling Reunion Weekend Set for Sept. 9-10

NORMAN – The OU Wrestling Reunion Weekend is scheduled for Sept. 9-10 in Norman. The weekend includes the annual Takedown Club Golf Tournament, along with a tailgate before the ULM football game.

The weekend starts with the Takedown Club golf outing at the Cobblestone Creek Golf Course in Norman on Friday, Sept. 9. Check-in for the tournament begins at 11 a.m., followed by lunch at 11:30 a.m. and a shotgun start to the tournament at 1 p.m. The cost to play is $150 per golfer and includes lunch and a 30 oz. OU wrestling stainless steel travel mug. Supporters can also sponsor a hole at the tournament for $300 per hole.

That evening following the tournament, wrestling alumni are invited to attend a dinner in Headington Hall on the sixth floor at 7 p.m. Dinner is complimentary for letterwinners and one guest.

The alumni weekend continues on Saturday, Sept. 10, with the Varsity O Association Tailgate, located in the tent southwest of the track complex. Admission is complimentary for letterwinners and one guest. Each additional guest is $10. Each alumnus will receive two complimentary tickets to the OU vs. ULM football game.
