Glass Named All-Academic for Third Year

NORMAN – University of Oklahoma wrestler Clark Glass was named to the Division I Wrestling All-Academic Team, the NWCA announced Monday.

Glass, a redshirt junior biology major, was one of 116 student-athletes recognized by the NWCA and one of 101 student-athletes named to the team who also qualified for the 2016 NCAA Championships in New York City.

The honor marks the third consecutive year Glass has been named to the NWCA All-Academic Team. The Brandon, Fla., native also earned Academic All-Big 12 First Team status for the third time earlier this season and was presented the wrestling team's Sooner Student-Athlete of the Year at the annual spring banquet for his excellence both on the mat and in the classroom.
