Fans Invited to Annual Spring Banquet

NORMAN – The University of Oklahoma wrestling team will celebrate the 2015-16 season at the annual spring banquet, set for April 22 at the Cobblestone Creek Golf Course in Norman.

The event kicks off at 6 p.m. with a social, followed by dinner catered from Sooner Legends, which includes dinner, dessert and refreshments. The student-athlete awards presentation is slated to begin at 6:45 p.m. 

Following the banquet, guests are invited to join the team to play foot golf (golf with a soccer ball) on the nine-hole Cobblestone Creek course. The clubhouse will remain open for those who want to stay back and relax, and a live DJ will be onsite offering a selection of music.

Tickets are $25 per person and can be bought online here. Dress for the event is dressy casual, but those planning to play foot golf may want to change into comfortable shoes.
