The NWCA Top 15 features seven of OU's 2015-16 opponents, including four in the top 10. OU holds a 4-4 record of then-ranked opponents this season. Penn State kept the top spot of the leaderboard with all 12 first-place votes, and Iowa sits in second. N.C. State, Oklahoma State and Missouri round out the top five places, respectively.

OU's Ryan Millhof moved up two spots in the 125-pound rankings to No. 8 after a 5-3 decision over then-No. 5 Eddie Klimara of Oklahoma State. The sophomore has registered six straight wins, with five of those wins coming over ranked foes.

Checking in at the No. 4 spot at 133 pounds, Cody Brewer is coming off a 20-3 technical fall in 3:55 over then-No. 18 Gary Wayne Harding of OSU. With the technical fall, Brewer has tallied 12 bonus-point victories this season with four coming over ranked foes.

At heavyweight, Ross Larson moved up one spot to No. 15. The redshirt junior has registered eight wins by fall on the season and holds a 14-9 overall record.
