NORMAN – The No. 7 University of Oklahoma wrestling team (9-4, 4-2) travels to Corvallis, Ore., on Thursday, Feb. 11, for a 9 p.m. CT contest with Oregon State (6-5) before returning home for a Sunday dual with No. 24 South Dakota State (12-5, 4-1) inside McCasland Field House at 2 p.m.
OU will recognize seniors Cody Brewer and Michael Brown during Sunday's dual as part of its' Senior Day festivities.
The Sooners are coming off a 26-11 loss to No. 4 Oklahoma State last Friday night in Stillwater, Okla. Three OU wrestlers tallied wins in the contest and all three came over ranked wrestlers. At 125 pounds, sophomore Ryan Millhof registered his sixth consecutive win in a 5-3 decision over No. 5 Eddie Klimara. Redshirt senior Cody Brewer nabbed his 12th bonus-point victory of the season with a 20-3 technical fall in 3:55 over No. 18 Gary Wayne Harding at 133 pounds, and redshirt junior Matt Reed recorded a 3-2 decision over No. 5 Kyle Crutchmer in the 174-pound match.
