EVANSTON, Ill. – The No. 18 Oklahoma wrestling team returns to the mat this Thursday and Friday, Dec. 29-30, for the 54th annual Ken Kraft Midlands Championship. The 53-team tournament will be held in the Welsh-Ryan Arena on the campus of Northwestern University.
Thirteen Sooners are set to compete in the event, which features more than 70 ranked wrestlers, including four ranked Sooners in No. 8 DaWaylon Barnes (157 pounds), No. 7 Clark Glass (165 pounds), No. 18 Brad Johnson (197 pounds) and No. 14 Ross Larson (285 pounds).
Session one is set to begin at 9:30 a.m. CT on Thursday with session two following the same day at 7 p.m. Sessions three and four will take place Friday at noon and 7 p.m., respectively. The finals will be broadcast live on Big Ten Network.
