NORMAN – The No. 18 Oklahoma wrestling team faces its third top-15 team this season on Sunday against No. 8 Cornell. The dual is set for a 2 p.m. start inside McCasland Field House.
The Sooners (1-2) are coming off a 33-3 dual loss to No. 1 Oklahoma State on Dec. 2. In the 165-pound bout, redshirt senior Clark Glass downed then-No. 4 Chandler Rogers, 3-1, in sudden victory one for the first Bedlam win of his career. Glass received Big 12 Wrestler of the Week honors for his win.
The matchup with Cornell marks the Sooners' final home event until after the new year. OU returns to the mat on Dec. 29-30 in Evanston, Ill., for the Midlands Championships, and will come home on Jan. 8 inside McCasland Field House for a contest with No. 5 Missouri at 2 p.m.
