Morgantown, W.Va - The University of Oklahoma volleyball team won its first Big 12 match of the season and snapped a six-match slide with a 3-0 sweep of West Virginia at the WVU Coliseum on Friday evening. The Sooners improved to 10-7 overall and 1-3 in league play.

Redshirt-senior outside hitter Madison Ward (Lawton, Okla.) tallied a match-leading 18 kills and hit .353 to lead OU to the straight sets victory by scores of 25-19, 26-24 and 25-16. Sophomore outside hitter Alyssa Enneking (League City, Texas) was second with 12 kills and added 11 digs for her first double-double of the season.

Sophomore setter Audrey Alford (Norman, Okla.) dished out 31 assists, while junior middle blocker Marion Hazelwood (Beach City, Texas) registered a season-high nine blocks, including four solos.

The Sooners and the Mountaineers take the floor for a rematch Saturday evening at 5 p.m. CT.
