Morgantown, W.Va. - The University of Oklahoma volleyball team claimed the season series with West Virginia as it claimed a 3-1 win at the WVU Coliseum on Saturday. The Sooners improved to 11-7 overall and 2-3 in the Big 12.

Oklahoma overcame a first set, 25-19, setback with wins of 25-23, 25-22, 25-22.

Redshirt-senior outside hitter Madison Ward (Lawton, Okla.) tied for the match lead in kills at 18. She added 11 digs for her third double-double of the season. Sophomore outside hitter Alyssa Enneking was second on the team with 16 kills and posted a match-leading and career-high 28 digs.

Junior middle blocker Marion Hazelwood was third on the team with 12 kills. Sophomore setter Audrey Alford paced the OU attack with 44 assists and added 11 digs.

The Sooners remain on the road this week with a Wednesday night match at Texas Tech.
