NORMAN – The No. 9 University of Oklahoma wrestling team (6-2, 2-1 Big 12) will travel to Lewisburg, Pa., and Morgantown, W.Va., this weekend for duals against Bucknell and No. 24 West Virginia.
The Sooners start out the busy weekend on Friday inside Sojka Pavilion for a contest against Bucknell, slated for a 6 p.m. CT start. The squad then heads to Morgantown for a matchup against Big 12-opponent West Virginia. The dual is scheduled for Sunday at 3 p.m. CT inside WVU Colisuem.
OU is coming off a 21-16 win over conference-foe Wyoming last Saturday, Jan. 9. Six Sooners registered victories in the contest, including Cody Brewer's win by fall over P.T. Garcia in 2:29 at 133 pounds. Sophomore Ryan Millhof (125 pounds) tallied a 6-3 decision over No. 15 Drew Templeman in the dual's opening bout.
RANKED COMPETITORS
The Sooners' lineup features five ranked wrestlers in No. 14 Ryan Millhof (125 pounds), No. 3 Cody Brewer (133 pounds), No. 9 Clark Glass (165 pounds), No. 20 Matt Reed (174 pounds) and No. 14 Ross Larson (285 pounds).
Millhof will compete against two ranked wrestlers this weekend in No. 10 Paul Petrov of Bucknell and No. 12 Zeke Moisey of WVU. West Virginia's lineup also includes No. 13 Dylan Cottrell (157 pounds) and No. 7 Jacob Smith (197 pounds).
