NORMAN – The No. 12 University of Oklahoma wrestling team (5-2, 1-0 Big 12) travels to Evanston, Ill., this Tuesday and Wednesday (Dec. 29-30) for the 53rd-annual Ken Kraft Midlands Championships. The two-day event will be held inside the Welsh-Ryan Arena on the campus of Northwestern University.
The Sooners will join 50 teams from across the country, including five top-10 squads in No. 2 Iowa, No. 3 NC State, No. 8 Rutgers, No. 9 Nebraska and No. 10 Lehigh.
RANKED COMPETITORS
Three Sooners competing in the Midlands Championships are ranked in the latest Intermat polls, including No. 13 Clark Glass (165 pounds), No. 16 Matt Reed (174 pounds) and No. 11 Ross Larson (285 pounds).
