NORMAN – The University of Oklahoma wrestling team travels to Ann Arbor, Mich., this Sunday, Nov. 22, for a dual against No. 3-ranked Michigan. The contest, tabbed as TheOpenMat.com's dual of the week, is slated for 1 p.m. CT inside Cliff Keen Arena.
The Sooners are coming off a 38-3 win over Big 12 opponent Northern Colorado inside McCasland Field House on Nov. 19. Six of the Sooners' nine wins in the match came with bonus points, including two falls by redshirt freshman Noah Teaney at 141 pounds and No. 14 Matt Reed at 174 pounds.
Ranked Competitors
Sunday's dual will feature five ranked matchups at 133, 149 165, 174 and 285. OU's Cody Brewer (No. 1 at 133 pounds), Clark Glass (No. 8 at 165), Ross Larson (No. 8 at 285) and Matt Reed (No. 14 at 174) have been ranked by InterMat all season, while freshman Davion Jeffries (No. 20 at 149) entered the poll for the first time this week.
