NORMAN – The University of Oklahoma wrestling team begins its home slate on Thursday, Nov. 19 when it hosts new Big 12 conference opponent Northern Colorado. The dual is set for 7 p.m. inside McCasland Field House.

The Sooners are coming off a dominating performance at the Northeast Duals on Nov. 15, where they picked up three wins against Nassau Community College (51-0), No. 15 Rutgers (19-18) and Army (34-6). The duals were held at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, N.Y., and marked the official start of competition for OU.

Ranked Competitors
The Sooners enter the home opener with five probable starters in the top 20 of the latest Intermat poll. Redshirt senior Cody Brewer (No. 1 at 133 pounds), redshirt junior Clark Glass (No. 8 at 165 pounds), redshirt junior Ross Larson (No. 8 at 285 pounds) and redshirt junior Matt Reed (No. 14 at 174 pounds) have been ranked all season, while freshman Davion Jeffries (No. 20 at 149 pounds) entered the poll for the first time this week.

Northern Colorado has three ranked probable starters in Trey Andrews (No. 16 at 125 pounds), Dylan Gabel (No. 17 at 184 pounds) and Trent Noon (No. 20 at 197 pounds).
