Members of the 2014 Oklahoma Sooners football team look back at their favorite memories from the AT&T Red River Showdown.
"My favorite OU/TX memory was probably freshman year when I ran out of the tunnel for the first time. I had been to the game growing up and the atmosphere and energy was just awesome. But running down that tunnel and seeing that split of 50/50 and being on the field with all that energy and getting hyped up was unmatched."

“I think the win in 2012 where we had 63 points and they had only 21. That is my favorite memory and also my first Red River Rivalry that I started in so it was special.”
“I say my favorite memory was the first time I walked down the tunnel and seeing how the fans were split. Just driving through the fair and seeing all the fans lined up, I had never realized how big the Texas State Fair was because growing up in Oklahoma it is nothing like that.
The total atmosphere is not something you can put into words. You just have to experience it yourself.

"I just have to say the total atmosphere is not something you can put into words. You just have to experience it yourself. My freshman year, when I was not playing, it really took me by surprise, but now I see it as a football game that we're there to play.”
“It would have to be my freshman year because we executed everything so well. It was my first game to be a part of and it was a game we played the best that we could.”
“My favorite OU/TX memory, I can think of a few, but sitting in the stands as a kid. There was one year where we were winning big time and it starts raining during the game. Where I was sitting with my parents was two rows under the overhang. Everyone else is getting drenched but we were just watching the game, watching the team and having a great time. We were having so much fun while everyone is complaining. All we could keep saying was, 'This is awesome.' That was a great one.
“My favorite one as a player, playing last year was fun don't get me wrong, but being on the sideline for the first time. I was only in my jersey and shorts and we beat them by 40 points. Getting to experience that as my first time on the field was pretty great.”

“It has to be running out. Running out of the tunnel and then like you hear the roar of cheers then quickly to boos. Just the cannons and the guns. The Texas Fight and Boomer Sooner playing. It's pretty awesome. The whole thing, it is an incredible scene. You smell the food from the fair. It is just really fun.”
“One of my favorite memories would have to be coming in on the bus. You have half of the side full of Texas fans and the other half of our fans. You are coming in and people are hitting the bus and stuff like that. It really gets you fired up and it kind of really starts off the whole weekend.”

“Also, the game four years ago when I scored four touchdowns. That was just awesome, because we played as a complete team. Landry [Jones] throwing it around and our defense played well. Just, we played great as a football team.”
“I'd have to say my redshirt freshman year. Just going down there and blowing them out was a lot of fun and then walking around the fair with my family was fun, too. Hopefully I can make my favorite memory this Saturday.”
