If You Only Knew ... 16th Edition
The Sooners closed out the spring schedule on April 28 with a 0-0 tie at SMU. OU opened the offseason on March 30 with a 3-0 win over Oral Roberts at home and followed it up with a 1-1 tie at Tulsa on April 14 and a 2-0 win over Arkansas on April 21.

In preparation for the fall slate, which was released on May 14, SoonerSports.com will highlight each of the players on the 2012 squad.

Some of the questions and answers will be soccer related, while others will help fans get to know the Sooners better.

The 16th edition takes a look at junior defender Kathryn Watson. Read more about her soccer career on the right and get to know her better below:

11. Who is the biggest joker on the team? Samantha Howell.

15. Tell us something that we don't know about you? I am studying abroad in Florence, Italy this summer.

16. Describe yourself in five words ...happy, outgoing, bubbly, trustworthy and dedicated.

17. In five years, I will be ...A dental hygienist and hopefully living in Dallas.

Kathryn Watson Bio Brief:
Watson was a 2011 Academic All-Big 12 first team honoree after playing in 12 games with eight starts. She missed four games due to an injury but still recorded career highs in games played and started.

Four-year letterwinner at J.J. Pearce H.S. where the team won the state championships in 2009 and 2010. Watson was named the 2010 UIL State Championship MVP and was also tabbed all-state as a senior. She also lettered two years in track and field.
