Sooner Profile: Bridget Laplante

NORMAN, Okla. -- Though she grew up in Texas, Bridget Laplante has bled Crimson & Cream her entire life.
 
Her parents are from Tulsa and both attended OU, along with a number of other family members. It was only natural, then, for her to follow in their footsteps.
 
Since arriving on campus, Laplante has been a constant in the lineup for the Oklahoma volleyball team. She was the only freshmen to start for the Sooners in 2006 and has been one of OU's most consistent performers ever since.
 
Now a senior, Laplante is looking to lead her team back to the NCAA Tournament. It would be the perfect ending to a career that started with a dream when she was just a little girl, a dream of one day being a Sooner.
