NORMAN, Okla. -- Oklahoma opened at No. 4 in the USA Today/coaches preseason poll released Friday. The Sooners were one of six teams which received first-place votes.
 
USA Today provided this preview of the 2008 OU team: "Sooners won Big 12 but came up short in Fiesta Bowl. They're looking for bigger and better things behind QB Sam Bradford, who led the nation in passing efficiency, RBs DeMarco Murray and Chris Brown, WR Juaquin Iglesias, OL Duke Robinson, DLs Gerald McCoy and DeMarcus Granger and DB Nic Harris."
 
The Sooners kick off the 2008 season on Saturday, Aug. 30 vs. Chattanooga. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. and the game will be televised on a pay-per-view basis through FOX SportsNet.
