BRISTOL, Conn. -- ESPN.com's expert women's college basketball analysts agree: Courtney Paris is an All-American.

Paris earned first-team All-America honors from the Web site in a vote by its leading contributors -- columnists Graham Hays and Mechelle Voepel, resident bracketologist Charlie Crème and editor Melanie Jackson.

Paris joins LSU's Sylvia Fowles, UConn's Maya Moore, Tennessee's Candace Parker and Stanford's Candice Wiggins on the first team.

Said Jackson: "Paris' only downfall is that her amazing consistency has conditioned us to take double-doubles for granted."

Paris is truly the most consistent player in the history of women's basketball, with 90 consecutive double-doubles and 95 career double-doubles in 98 career games.  The Piedmont, Calif., native owns 10 official NCAA records and 32 Big 12 Conference records.

Paris, who averages 18.7 points, 15.1 rebounds and 3.5 blocks, is the NCAA's leading rebounder, No. 4 shot blocker and 24th-rated scorer.  Paris is the only player in the nation to be rated in the top 50 in more than three of the eight major statistical categories -- points, rebounds, assists, blocks, steals, field goal percentage, 3-point field-goal percentage and free throw percentage.

Only Paris and Moore, a freshman, will return to the college ranks next season.

Maryland's Crystal Langhorne and Kristi Toliver, North Carolina's Erlana Larkins, Louisville's Angel McCoughtry and Oklahoma State's Angela Riley were named to the second team.

Paris was also ESPN.com's consensus pick for Big 12 Most Valuable Player.

Last week, Paris was named to Sports Illustrated's women's basketball All-America first team.
