The Cowboys have dominated the last four championships winning each year by at least 30 points.

Looking for a Repeat

In 2006 Hazewinkel defeated Austin DeVoe of Missouri in the first round and then defeated Coleman Scott of Oklahoma State for his second title.
Finals Experience
Oklahoma senior Matt Storniolo is no stranger to the finals at conference wrestling championships. While at Penn State in 2003-04, the Nittany Lion freshman reached the finals of the 149 pound championship.
In 2004-05 as a Sooner sophomore Storniolo reached the 149 pound final at the Big 12 Championships losing to top-ranked Zack Esposito of Oklahoma State. Storniolo's 2005-06 junior season was deja vu all over again as he reached the finals at the Big 12 Championships but lost once again to top-ranked Zack Esposito of Oklahoma State.
