• Oklahoma scored 70+ points for the eighth time in 11 games this season.  OU recorded 70 or more points in just ten games last season.

• The win was OU's first over a top-25 opponent since defeating No. 17 Oklahoma State 67-60 on Feb. 7 last season.

• Tonight's meeting marked the first between the two schools.

• Tony Crocker ended a 6:52 first-half scoreless streak with a layup at the 3:08 mark. Crocker followed up the bucket with a steal and subsequent layup as the Sooners scored four points in 13 seconds, more than they had scored the previous 7:43.

• Crocker finished the night with 15 points on 6-of-14 shooting (.428). He was 3-of-5 from 3-point distance marking the fourth time in five games the sophomore guard has recorded at least three treys.

• Blake Griffin, the All-College Classic MVP, finished with 15 points and a career-high 14 rebounds.  It was the fourth double-double on the year for the freshman and the first since the Morehead State win on November 21.

• Longar Longar poured in a team-high 16 points on 6-of-12 (.500) shooting, marking the fourth straight game the senior center has scored at least 16 points.

• Gonzaga guard Jeremy Pargo had a career-high 28 points on 11-of-18 shooting.  Pargo is the younger brother of New Orleans Hornets guard Jannero Pargo who played last year's home games in the Ford Center while the Hornets were stationed in Oklahoma City.
