NORMAN, Okla. -- The OU wrestling team could not overcome an early deficit, losing to the cowboys Sunday afternoon in Stillwater, 21-9.

Oklahoma recorded three wins on the afternoon. Will Rowe was the first Sooner to put points on the board in a 10-4 decision over Quinten Fuentes in the 149-pound bout. Seniors Joshua Weitzel and Joel Flaggert won back-to-back at 184 and 197 pounds, respectively. Weitzel scored a 3-2 decision over Cody Hill after being awarded a riding point at the conclusion of the third period. Flaggert won in a 12-10 decision over Clayton Foster.
