CEDAR FALLS, Iowa No. 7 Oklahoma dropped its first round match at the 2007 NWCA/Cliff Keen National Duals to No. 9 Central Michigan, 21-15.

OU began the dual taking the lead 6-0 after the first two matches, but could not sustain the momentum as the Chippewas won six out of the next eight matches.

No. 1 Sam Hazewinkel at 125-pounds defeated Luke Smith by a decision of 10-4.  Hazewinkel kept his unbeaten streak alive as he pushed his season record to 16-0.  The senior has only allowed 18 points to his opponents this season.

Freshman Brian Shelton recorded his fifth victory as a Sooner.  The El Reno, Okla. native shutout Conor Beebe at 133-pounds with a 6-0 decision.

No. 14 Shane Seibert continued his hot streak as he recorded his third fall in his last four matches.  Seibert pinned Andy Keller at the 3:55 mark in their 165-pound match.

Joel Flaggert held on for his third straight victory as he defeated Wynn Michalak by a decision of 6-5 at 197-pounds.

OU returns to the mat at 3 p.m. as they face No. 12/13 Cornell in the consolation bracket.
