NORMAN, Okla. The University of Oklahoma Athletics Department has announced that admission to Saturday's volleyball match against Kansas State will be free in honor of Fan Appreciation Day. The Sooners and Wildcats will match up at 1 p.m. inside the Howard McCasland Field House.
The OU marketing department is recognizing fans for their support while also honoring the OU volleyball team and its current No. 15 ranking. Additionally, fan banners will be handed out to the first 250 fans in attendance. Doors will open at 12 p.m.
The afternoon match gives fans from around the state a great opportunity to come out and watch the OU volleyball squad as it continues its record-breaking season prior to the OU-Texas Tech football game at 6 p.m.
The Sooners, owning a 21-5 record and a 12-3 mark in Big 12 play, sit one game behind No. 8 Texas in third place in the Big 12 standings.
