The Baltimore Ravens improved to 4-0 on the season after defeating the San Diego Chargers, 16-13, in a battle of unbeatens. In a game that featured more defense than offense, Mark Clayton had four catches (tied for the Ravens team lead) for 37 yards.

Clayton also registered a tackle after a Steve McNair interception, forcing a fumble on the play that was eventually recovered by San Diego.

Kelly Gregg has established himself as a force on the Ravens' defensive line, accounting for eight tackles against the Chargers. Corey Ivy added two tackles for Baltimore.

One of the most hyped games of the weekend was a blowout before halftime as the Chicago Bears dominated the Seattle Seahawks, 37-6, on Sunday night.

Seattle struck first with a Josh Brown field goal but it was all Chicago after that. Tommie Harris turned in an impressive performance with three tackles and two sacks for the Bears, who upped their record to 4-0.

Jimmy Wilkerson had his best outing of the year, recording three tackles and helping the Kansas City Chiefs dominate defensively in a 41-0 shutout of San Francisco. On the other sideline, Brandon Moore had five tackles for the 49ers.

Considering OU plays Texas on Saturday, Sunday featured a game involving stars from both schools: Roy Williams and Vince Young.

With an impressive defensive performance and a lot of offense, the Cowboys won in convincing fashion, 45-14. Williams finished the game with five tackles. Terrell Owens led the Cowboys with five catches for 88 yards, capping off an eventful week. The Titans' Andre Woolfolk accounted for two tackles, both unassisted.

The Cleveland Browns won their first game of the season Sunday, defeating the Oakland Raiders, 24-21. Brodney Pool had a solid effort for the Browns, registering three unassisted tackles. Antonio Perkins added two unassisted tackles.

Jammal Brown and the New Orleans Saints continued their explosive offensive attack Sunday with 407 yards at Carolina but came up just short of their fourth consecutive victory in a 21-18 loss to the Panthers.

OU-Texas is less than a week away and the NFL features numerous stars from both schools. Following are some of the interesting stories of Sooners and Longhorns crossing paths in pro football.

If You Can't Beat'em...
Chicago running back Cedric Benson went 0-3 in his career against Oklahoma and defensive back Nathan Vasher likewise was winless against the Sooners. However, they both have many Sooner teammates in Chicago: Mark Bradley, J.D. Runnels, Dusty Dvoracek and Tommie Harris.

Before Their Time
Cleveland Browns kicker Phil Dawson played at Texas in the 1990s. Browns' teammates Brodney Pool, Antonio Perkins and Travis Wilson all played for the Sooners but were still in grade school when Dawson kicked for the Longhorns.

Detroit Longhorns

If the Bears are known as the “Chicago Sooners”, this is likewise a fitting name for the Lions. Similar to Cedric Benson in Chicago, former Sooner Teddy Lehman is in the same position in Detroit, surrounded by former rivals. Longhorns on the Lions' roster include Cory Redding, Shaun Rogers, Jonathan Scott, Roy Williams and Will Matthews.

Titanic Rivalry
The Tennessee Titans feature three Longhorns and two Sooners. Brandon Jones and Andre Woolfolk hail from Oklahoma, while Vince Young, Bo Scaife and Ahmard Hall come from Texas.

Even Teams

The Kansas City roster features Jimmy Wilkerson and William Bartee from Oklahoma plus former Longhorns Derrick Johnson and Priest Holmes. Tampa Bay has both a Sooner and a Longhorn on their roster: Davin Joseph makes a living blocking for quarterback Chris Simms.

Jacksonville
The Jaguars boast two Sooners, Clint Ingram and Stockar McDougle, with Mike Williams as their sole Longhorn.

LOOKING AHEAD TO WEEK 5

A matchup between former standout OU offensive linemen in New Orleans as the Saints and Jammal Brown go up against Davin Joseph and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Derrick Strait and the New York Jets travel to the Sunshine State to face Clint Ingram, Stockar McDougle and the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Mark Clayton, Dan Cody, Kelly Gregg, Corey Ivy, Chris Chester and the Baltimore Ravens head to INVESCO Field, home of the Denver Broncos and Stephen Alexander.
