TULSA, Okla. The University of Oklahoma men's tennis team dropped a 4-0 decision to Arkansas on Sunday in the finals of the ITA Central Region Team Indoor Championships.
In singles action, senior Alexei Ivanov fell to No. 24 Matt Roberts, 6-2, 6-2. Senior Lee Gregg and freshman Cale Planck also dropped matches to Colin Mascall and Michael Jung, respectively, in straight sets.
Oklahoma suffered two tough losses in doubles competition, with No. 23 Ivanov and junior Marek Velicka and Gregg and senior Matt Long dropping 8-6 decisions to the duos of Rohan Gajjar and Matt Roberts and Jung and Mascall.
The Sooners resume competition later this week as they travel to Columbus, Ohio, to face No. 18 The Ohio State University on Jan. 27.
