NORMAN, Okla. -- A camera crew from
ESPN the Magazine was in Norman this weekend to conduct a photo shoot with Oklahoma running back Adrian Peterson.
The national publication has an upcoming issue entitled "Next" where it will feature prominent athletes expected to make an impact in 2005. Peterson will be featured on the cover.
The photo shoot was held on the second floor of Gaylord Family - Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. Peterson posed with an OU football, his helmet, his jersey and various other props including a crimson OU flag draped around his shoulders.

The Palestine, Texas, native set an OU and NCAA freshman rushing record with 1,925 yards and finished second in the Heisman Trophy voting -- the highest finish ever for a freshman.
Earlier in the season, Peterson tied an NCAA mark by reaching 1,000 yards in his seventh career game. Florida's Emmitt Smith established the record in 1987 and San Diego State's Marshall Faulk matched it in 1991.
Peterson eclipsed the century mark in rushing yards in 11 of Oklahoma's 13 games in 2004.
