Maria Villarroel scored 19 points, and No. 15 Oklahoma took advantage of sloppy play by Nebraska to win the Big 12 opener for both 70-51 Wednesday night.
Villarroel grabbed five rebounds and had two assists for the Sooners (11-1, 1-0), who scored 26 points off Nebraska turnovers. Dionnah Jackson added 11 points, seven rebounds and six assists.
Kea Cannon paced the Cornhuskers (10-2, 0-1) with 15 points, and Katie Morse added 13.
Oklahoma held a 32-24 lead at the break after hitting only 12 of 32 shots in the first half. The Sooners shot 46 percent for the game.
