Oklahoma Wrestling Announces Annual Awards Banquet

NORMAN, Okla. - The University of Oklahoma wrestling team has announced its annual, end-of-the-year awards banquet. The event will be at the U.S. Postal Center (Marriott) in Norman on Sunday, April 21 at 5 p.m. The Sooners will be honoring its 2001-02 team which won the Big 12, finished third nationally and tallied six All-Americans on the season.

The center is located just north on Highway 9 (southeast part of Norman) and everyone is welcome to attend. Please RSVP by April 17th by calling Shelley Harmon at (405) 325-8361 or by e-mailing OU Assistant Wrestling Coach Rodney Jones at ourod@hotmail.com.
