"It feels really nice to win," said OU Head Volleyball Coach Kalani Mahi. "That's obviously at the front of our minds right now. This match helps us to believe in ourselves and our abilities."

Junior Denise Griffin and sophomore Logan Pierce led the Sooners offensively with 15 and 14 kills, respectively. Pierce had her third double-double of the season by chipping in 13 digs. "In the first game I used a lineup I had never tried before, so in the second game I brought Logan Pierce back in her normal spot and put Denise Griffin opposite her and it worked great," said Mahi. "It was something that worked tonight and it worked well."
