NORMAN, Okla. (AP) - Jeff Boschee rediscovered his shooting touch in scoring 16 points Saturday, and Kenny Gregory had 14 points and 13 rebounds as No. 5 Kansas beat No. 22 Oklahoma 69-61.
Boschee had been 5-of-31 from 3-point range in the previous seven games, but made 4-of-8 from outside the arc to give Kansas (13-1, 2-0 Big 12) its sixth straight victory.
Hollis Price scored 18 and Nolan Johnson had 16 for Oklahoma (12-3, 1-2). The Sooners' leading scorer, Aaron McGhee, did not score and was 0-of-9 from the field.
McGhee, who came in averaging 16 points per game, picked up his third and fourth fouls in a one-minute span in the second half and eventually fouled out with 1:29 to play.
Kansas held Oklahoma to a season-low 32 percent from the field. Eric Chenowith had 15 rebounds, helping the Jayhawks outrebound Oklahoma 24-15 in the second half.
Boschee had three 3-pointers during a run late in the first half that gave the Jayhawks a 31-19 lead.
Kelley Newton's third 3 of the half got Oklahoma within eight at halftime, then Johnson scored eight of his team's 10 points during a stretch in the second half that helped the Sooners to tie it at 40.
But two straight inside baskets by Nick Collison started an 11-3 run that gave the Jayhawks control for good, 51-43. Kirk Hinrich scored six points during the spurt.
The margin was seven with three minutes remaining, then Boschee made a 3-pointer, Drew Gooden scored inside and Kenny Gregory sank two free throws to make it 64-50 with 1:24 left.
